Hey everyone,
Let me share my crazy story and seek some advice on taking legal action.
A few weeks ago, I applied for a car loan, excited to get my dream car. To my shock, the loan officer denied my application, claiming that my credit report listed me as deceased. At first, I thought it was a silly mistake, but when I checked my credit report, there it was – "deceased" right next to my name!
I immediately contacted the credit bureau to fix this error. However, dealing with them has been an absolute nightmare. They acknowledged the mistake but said it would take weeks to correct.
I never thought I'd find myself in such a bizarre situation, but here I am – mistakenly reported dead on my credit report. Now, I'm stuck in this absurd situation where my credit score has plummeted, and my financial life is on hold. I can't get approved for anything – no loans, no credit cards, nothing.
I've read about others facing similar issues and successfully taking legal action. That's why I'm reaching out to this community for help. Has anyone been through this?
