Statement of Faith

The Person and Work of Christ

05

We believe that Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God who became fully human while remaining fully divine. He lived a sinless life, was crucified, and shed His blood to atone for the sins of the world. His death secured our redemption and reconciled us to God. He rose bodily from the grave, ascended into heaven, and now intercedes for believers as our High Priest and Redeemer.

John 1:14; Ephesians 1:7; Romans 5:8–10; Hebrews 4:14–16

The Person and Work of the Father

04

We believe God the Father is the Creator of all things, who made humanity in His image to know, worship, and glorify Him. In love, He sent His Son to redeem us. The Father God guides our salvation by initiating it, planning it, providing for it, securing it. He adopts all who believe into His family.

Genesis 1:26–27; John 6:44; Ephesians 1:4-5

The Triune God

01

We believe in one living and true God—perfect in holiness, justice, love, wisdom, and power—eternally existing in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. He created all things out of nothing and sustains His creation, which exists for His glory.

Deuteronomy 6:4; Genesis 1:1;

Colossians 1:16–17

The Human Condition

03

We believe that all people were created in the image of God, intended to live in righteousness and fellowship with Him. However, each of us has sinned—falling short of God's perfect standard. In Scripture, sin is described by the Hebrew word chata’ (חטא), which means “to miss the mark,” like an arrow that fails to reach its target. Sin is not only seen in our actions but is also a condition within us that separates us from God.

Because of this, we are all in need of a Redeemer—someone who can restore our broken relationship with God and save us from the judgment our sin deserves.

Genesis 1:26–28; Romans 5:12;

Ephesians 2:1–3

The Holy Scriptures

02

We believe the Bible, consisting of the Old and New Testaments, is the inspired and authoritative Word of God. It is inerrant in its original writings and the only infallible rule for faith and conduct.

2 Timothy 3:16–17; 2 Peter 1:20–21; John 17:17

The Purpose of Humanity

10

We believe that the highest purpose of every person is to glorify God and enjoy fellowship with Him forever. Salvation is not merely for our personal benefit, but that together we may reflect God's character and fulfill His mission in the world. Just as the Father sent the Son, Jesus also sends us in the power of the Holy Spirit, to make disciples of all nations.

John 20:21; Matthew 28:18-20 Ephesians 2:19-22

The Return of Christ and Final Judgment

09

We believe in the personal, visible, and bodily return of Jesus Christ. He will gather all people - both who are alive and those whose spirits have departed from their earthly bodies. Believers in Christ will not face judgment for condemnation but will appear before the judgment seat of Christ to receive rewards for their faithful service. Those who have rejected Him will face final judgment and eternal separation from God.

Matthew 25:31–46; 2 Corinthians 5:10

The Person and Work of the Holy Spirit

06

We believe the Holy Spirit convicts the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment. He regenerates and sanctifies believers, unites them with the body of Christ, and empowers them to live godly lives. The Holy Spirit gives spiritual gifts for ministry, provides comfort and guidance, and seals believers for the day of redemption.

John 16:8–13; Romans 8:9–11; 1

Corinthians 12:4–11

The Church

08

We believe the Church is the body of Christ and the family of God, made up of all believers who have been regenerated by the Holy Spirit. It exists to glorify God through worship, teaching, fellowship, service, and evangelism. Local congregations are expressions of the universal Church, called to preach the gospel, disciple believers, and practice the ordinances of baptism and the Lord’s Supper.

1 Corinthians 12:12–14; Ephesians 4:11–16; 1 Peter 2:9-10

Salvation by Grace Through Faith

07

We believe that salvation is a gift of God’s grace and cannot be earned. It is received through faith in Jesus Christ alone. All who repent and trust in Him are forgiven, justified, born again, and receive eternal life as children of God.

Ephesians 2:8–10; John 3:16; Romans 10:9–10
